Central Presbyterian Church originally was founded as a mission church. It is a legacy we carry on with pride.
The Mission Ministry Team’s goal is to explore and develop opportunities for the church’s members to participate in a variety of support activities at the local, state, national and international levels:
Locally, we support Siena-Francis House, the YWCA’s Battered Woman’s program, Santa Monica House, Patti’s Pantry, Youth Emergency Services, and Crossroads Connection, an ex-offender ministry.
Locally and statewide, we support Presbyterian Outreach’s mission efforts. Nationally and internationally, we sponsor Alternative Gifts International’s “Alternative Gift Market,” and the Presbyterian General Mission Fund which supports many mission works. Our youth participate in many mission-oriented activities, including an annual work trip.
We collect three annual Presbyterian special offerings to support local and worldwide missions.
