God loves us and desires to give us the best that we need for our lives. We are “A Part of God’s Garden.” The main difference between us and the plants in a garden is that we have the tendency to get up and move away instead of remaining rooted where God plants us.

When people go camping, they have to make sure they have a tent big enough to hold everyone in inclement weather. “How Big is the Tent” of our church? Is it large enough to accommodate all whom God wants close?

We Presbyterians take seriously the biblical command to do everything “decently and in order.” So what would we have done with someone like King David of old, who showed such apparently callous disregard for anything resembling dignity and decorum?
